We sat down with Adnan Liaquat, popularly known as Adiie Adnan, an avid travel vlogger and emerging musician based in USA. This young artist has already been able to attract the attention of music lovers with his multi-faceted musical talent from all around the world.
Tell us a little about yourself and your childhood.
Adnan: I was born in the Sylhet district of Bangladesh, but I grew up in the capital Dhaka.
I have been in America for over two decades. My family moved to America shortly before I finished middle school in Dhaka and since then, I have completed my studies here, graduating from Berkley College in business and IT management.
How did you get started in music?
Adnan: I have been passionate about music since as long as I can remember. Instead of confining myself to one style of music, I have been experimenting with various styles from the get go. Despite my busy schedule, I make it a priority to make time for music. It is my belief that music is all about the connection between the artist and the audience, so my work is available across all social channels for everyone to enjoy and I make an effort to connect with my followers all across the globe.
You seem like a fitness enthusiast. Tell us something about your daily routine
Adnan: I truly believe if you invest in your body, your body will take care of you later on in your life. A good physique is not only a product of hours of workout at the gym. It also depends on your diet. I always try to maintain a healthy diet even when I am on the move.
You are quite involved in travel vlogging, tell us something about that.
Adnan: I got the travel bug during my early days in Sylhet, which is one of the premier tourist destinations in Bangladesh. From the Amish Villages of Lancaster to Ithaca Falls in New York, I love exploring different tourist spots in America and my audiences like to experience them though my lens and commentary. Often times, they want me to visit and cover certain places and I try my best to uphold their wishes. I believe this to be a fun and engaging way to connect with my audience.
I always try to create quality content for my audience. I also feel it’s very important to stay relevant. A large percentage of my audience is from Bangladesh. I try my best to give them a virtual tour of all the places I cover through my lens.
